Stephen Hart, Sculptor
Stephen Hart is a sincere and contemplative sculptor, whose work features at both Spicers Peak Lodge and Spicers Balfour Hotel. Stephen's work at Spicers Peak Lodge (above) is titled Communion, and was originally created for the East Coast Sculpture Prize, for which it was awarded a prize for artistic merit. Excelling in his extraordinary technical ability, Hart delivers beautiful and meticulous hand crafted sculptures in both wood and bronze. His work expresses a quietly serious contemplation of the human condition, while maintaining a delightful whimsical quality.
