Note: Safety will always come first. Although the advertised minimum age for horse-riding is 12 years, this can depend on the ability of the rider and is for trail rides only. Children under the age of 12 years are also able to choose pony leads as an alternative. Discretion lies with the Spicers Hidden Vale Activities Coordinator and if the young rider does not have the strength or ability, then they will not be permitted to ride. Many families participate in the trail rides (children over the age of 12 are generally better suited) and it offers a unique holiday experience.
