In our increasingly busy world there is nothing quite like getting back to nature in the Australian bush.
Here you can rediscover the pleasure of simple things - like the peace that comes with walking through a forest to the song of native birds; the pleasure that seeing a curious wallaby can bring; and the awe that a sky full of stars can inspire. Best of all, with Spicers Private Walks you can discover them all while enjoying a walk that is more about ‘rest and relaxation’ than ‘rough and ready’.
Explore the environment by day and return to the luxury of the Spicers Canopy campsite each night. On your final day book into our award-winning sister property Spicers Peak Lodge and enjoy a night or two of absolutely luxury including their famous seven course degustation dinner with drinks.
All walks include:

Join our bushman guide, Russell, for 3 days of guided walks through our 5000 acre nature refuge and Main Range National Park in the Scenic Rim, just two hours drive from Brisbane. Having spent most of his life living out of a swag and with tales galore to recount about the indigenous and pioneering history of the area (plus a tad of bush poetry), Russell is the perfect guide to help you explore these historic trails and pristine wilderness.
But there's no roughing it and no heavy packs to carry here. On the first two nights we return to Spicers Canopy, our eco-luxury campsite with your luggage pre-delivered to fully-furnished, safari-style tents and all drinks and meals prepared by a personal chef. On the final day, we return to Spicers Peak Lodge for a night of pure luxury and fine dining, again with all luggage transported ahead of you.
3 days, 3 nights: from $1399 per person
(all-inclusive of walks, meals, drinks and lodging throughout your stay).
