The Sunshine Coast Hinterland lies inland from the coast and is made up of the spectacular Glass House Mountains, the Blackall Ranges, the Noosa Hinterland, Mary Valley and several National Parks. The area lies not much more than an hour north of Brisbane and has an average elevation of 450 metres, ensuring a cooler climate that offers unique attractions in the different seasons.
